Absolutely worth a stroll. Start your day with breakfast at Meat the Fish, and wander around the boutiques. It's a small artsy section of town but lovely.

This place has beautiful architecture, modern, quiet and simply a nice place to walk.. it can be reached from Gumeizeh on foot; a few artisanal and artistic shops. It was a nice quiet change after a long walk looking at art galleries in Gumeizeh..

I found here when I was exploring the downtown Beirut, there are beautiful renewed buildings in narrow streets. And some cafes. I think it's worth a visit if you are around, and definitely it won't take much of your time.
