Please note that Skybar is no longer available as the Place has shut down permanently. For other Sky Management projects, check The One Beirut, also note that The One does not open during Summer.

Music is nice...food is highly priced for the quantity they offer...cocktails and drinks are good...atmosphere is nice...but the worst thing is that you have to wait outside before they let you go inside even if you have a reservation and it's not nice especially that most of the times you have to wait for a long time like an hour or so...I don't recommend it...

This is the worst night club in the world, they are liar & disrespectful people. My wife & I came to visit Lebanon for few weeks and Sky Bar was one attraction in our list. We called them one month ahead, to see if we need reservation, the lady on the phone said that if you want to sit on bar you don't need reservation, you just need to come at 9:30 & you walk in, she added that reservation is only needed for a table of 8 person & more. During our stay in Lebanon, we called again like 3 times to confirm that there's no need for reservation and she said the same as above. On that night, we went at 9:30, the bouncer told us that Skybar didn't open yet, it will open at 10:00; while waiting outside, more people were coming & waiting till they open the door. We were like 50 people outside waiting outside. At 10:30 (after on hour of waiting), they opened the door & here come the shocking story, there was a lady at the door, she was saying to each one in the queue trying to enter " Sorry you cannot enter if you don't have a reservation, the bar is full & PRE_RESERVED", We were shocked, we told her few hours ago we called to ask for reservation & the lady on the phone said reservation is not needed.
Anyhow, it was a lesson to us & I am sharing this story so that you learn from that lesson. No matter if you are a couple & dressed well, THEY ARE DISRESPECTFUL & LIAR. They tell on the phone that you need reservation so that you come at 9:30 & make a big crowd in front of their door & the send you home. MY ADVISE, Don't even think to go there, there are other respectful nightclubs in Lebanon than this horrible place.

I had been looking forward to visiting Sky Bar since they opened back up last year. I came to Beirut with a group of 12 people, and booked a table one month in advance. I confirmed with the hostess, Nour, 3 times. She confirmed with me the day of, and told me not to be there later than 1130PM. I confirmed, and got to Sky bar at 1104PM. We walked up to the door manager, Malek T. The most unprofessional door manager I have ever come across. I told him my name, and he let me in. I told him the rest of the group was right behind me and he looked up my table and saw that i had a reservation. He then looked at my group and requested everyones IDs. Everyone provided their IDs, and then he proceeded to say that he gave my table away because I was late. I was confused because we were there before 1130PM, and i showed him the message, he stated that I had to be there by 11PM, mind you, we got there at 1104PM. He then changed his story to say that the door manager has the last say for a table confirmation, which I was again confused by, because why have hostesses then? WHY ALLOW PEOPLE THAT ARE COMING FROM OVERSEAS TO CONFIRM A TABLE IF IT CAN BE CHANGED AT THE MOMENT OF THE RESERVATION. IT MAKES NO SENSE. He then tried to tell me that he tried to get me a table, but he fought with the other hostesses, which was a lie because i watched him the entire time. He ruined one of our TWO saturdays that we had in Beirut. We will NEVER go back to Sky Bar, and whenever someone asks me for recommendations, i make sure to tell them not to go to Sky Bar (already told about 12 people). I read other reviews and came across several that have mentioned this Malek gentleman, your management clearly has an issue that needs to be resolved if you would like to uphold a great image.

Spent a weekend in Beirut and had Skybar on the list to vist on my last night there. Called to ask about reservations and the lady who answered was nice enough to tell me that they have a long waiting list and that I would guarantee entry by showing up at 9:30pm (when club opens). Ditched all plans and followed her advice. BIG MISTAKE. My friends and I showed up on time, waited 20 mins because they had some technical problems to sort out..was stunned when the bouncer said that all the bars were PRE-RESERVED (what crap is this?) and that it would be impossible to get in. I wasted time standing outside when I could have reserved somewhere else. I didn't end up doing anything that night. Thanks Skybar for ruining my last night in Beirut!!!

The music is good cannot deny that, but the bouncers at the door are extremely unprofessional, unethical and more or less scum bags... it's as if the world rotates around Skybar. What a disgrace? I would never recommend it to neither tourists nor lebanese people. There are plenty of places that you can go to rather than being stared at, at the door why quarter of what you are wearing as their entire month's salary.
What a disgrace to nightclubs and the night life in Lebanon! They should be trained to respect themselves before humiliating others.
DISGUSTING!

Its upsetting to see Skybar Beirut, the twice ranked number 1 club in the world, get such bad reviews. It may be due to how strict they are about the entrance. No matter what the reasons are, I really dont think it deserves such rating. Skybar has definatly the best clubbing and partying summer experience in Lebanon and the Middle East in general. The place, the atmosphere, the people, all great!
