This is the only real cultural center in Kuwait! It has lots of musical evenings (concerts organized by various embassies), art exhibitions and family activities both indoors and outdoors. They have two venues: Americani Cultural Center in Kuwait City, by the sea, and a newer one: Yarmouk Cultural Center, in the Yarmouk area.
I'd suggest getting on their mailing list or just downloading the catalog with the yearly cultural season from their website. You can also add them on Instagram and check regularly what activities they have.
The best thing about this cultural center is that all their events are free of charge and no tickets or reservations needed!! Most embassies collaborate with them and bring international musicians and artists.
It's a breath of fresh air in a culturally poor country! Well done to them!! Enjoy!

Very interesting cultural center where you can find items of famous Al Sabah Collection, that was in National museum before Iraq's invasion. You can find a exellent gift shop.

Because the main museum was in renovation, the most interesting objects were displayed in this centre.
The objects displayed were really beautiful and very precious.
Some other objects have been unfortunately stolen during the Gulf war.

check the instgram or twitter accounts for events that are running all year around. Also, they have workshops for different ages especially reading for young kids.

Free visit. Just with the same "panneau" that Amricani. Ask the place to the concierge. A marvellous and short visit to the ancient jewels and pieces.

I visit this Home of tranquility three times a week, once for a lecture on Arts and history, another for the musical event, and third is when I take the son or daughter of a friend for the juniors book reading or junior scientist program. It is the only place in Kuwait where you don't have to be a arts snob or a philosophy major to get a bit of real culture in a town overrun by pop culture. Being there actually takes one out of whatever situation they are in and transcends the soul to levels very difficult to reach in this part of the world
