The Mirror House, also called, The Khalifa & Lidia Qattan Art Museum, is the residence of the Pioneer Kuwaiti Artist, Khalifa Qattan, and his wife Lidia, both artists whom have opened their house and art galleries to share their unique art with people from around the world. This place is a one-of-a-kind tour. The very friendly and delightfully quirky lady who owns the house explains every nook and cranny and the family history of each room in the house. She brews some home-made ginger tea and offers some home-made biscuits as part of the tour. Absolutely fun, weird, and out-of-this-world. I don't know what will happen to... More

Thank you so much for writing your review and how important it is to visit the Mirror House WHILE the artist is still around! Indeed, it is SHE and her amazing spirit that makes the Mirror House what it is. Thank you More

The visit to the mirror house must be booked by appointment ahead of time, and it costs 2 KD on week days and 3 KD on the weekends. It was probably the most unique gallery trip. With the artist Lidia herself hosting us, explaining everything, showing us the special surprises and discussing many issues from her perspective, it was a... More

We went there with a taxi. Nobody answer when we ring. You must contact before to plan the visit. We took some outdoor pics. Probably indoor is more exciting.

On tripadvisor, in the description content, it is mentioned that "tours are by appointment", hence, you should contact the number listed or send an email to book your tour in advance since this is NOT a public museum but a private one. More

The host, a charming lady who welcomes guests with tea, home-made cookies and challenging conversation, made this house into a must-see for any traveler. The house styling stands on the borderline between kitsch and Arabic art, plus the paintings, sculptures and artistic installations are presented with great enthusiasm and interesting (yet debatable) arguments by the wife of the artist. That is not an ordinary art museum. It is a unique place. You will be taken into the depths of artistic mind by Lidia's guidance. I really enjoyed the sound-music therapy and the inter-galactic room.

The bottom floor with its walls and floors covered in mirrors is fascinating. the top floor and strange lights and art exhibition is not so interesting but the whole house is well worth a visit.

It was a good place to go to. Every thing was made out of pieces of mirrors. I wouldn't go to it again but if you haven't seen it you should. The best thing of the house tour was the upstairs glow in the dark room. It was amazing.
