Our group dove with Bubbles Diving Center. I highly recommend diving with them. Abdulrahman Al- Sarheed was our captain and dive master. He did a great job and his boat is first class. The diving was just ok. Visibility was maybe 30 feet on the first dive and less than that on the second dive. However, when you are spending... More

Kobar is one Kuwait's uninhabited islands. Its nice to take a boat with friends and enjoy the islands for quiet snorkeling and swimming. The only structures you find on the island is an tower for communications. Kobar is surrounded by coral reefs and is therefore popular with scuba divers and sport fishing in surrounding areas.

People go here to party and drink. The average Kuwaiti leaves their trash everywhere and the Island is dirty. Sure, compared to the city it's "clean," but a friend who works for the Kuwaiti Coast Guard would come once a week with a garbage bag and fill a dozen trash bags. Clean up your TRASH PEOPLE! It's a nice place... More

Kubbar (Kobar) Island requires a boat to reach the island, though there are groups that arrange yachts on occasion. The island is deserted, so bring your own food, drinks, music, etc. The coast guard patrols the island so it is surprisingly clean. There is not much to do on the island itself. Bring your snorkeling gear and you can see... More

You obviously need a boat to visit this island but once there, it is just a place to relax. There are no facilities just groups sitting on the beach, eating, swimming and having fun. The island is very small but it has been cleaned up in recent times and is mainly litter free and clean now. The water is clear... More

The island is beautiful. The water yet is clean, there are a lot of birds there, baby birds and bird eggs. But the biggest problem are the people that leave garbage scatter on the beach and sea. Please, don't trow away in sea your garbage and YOUR CIGARRETE.
