The Ancient Iran Museum (pre islamic part, 300000Rs) is well organized, has good explanation in english and it's very interesting. The islamic part (200 000 Rs) has a good brochure but lacks information for english speakers. The finds and exposed objects are not so exciting.

The oldest museum in Iran. The Museum is separated into two buildings; ancient Persia and Iran after Islam. You can find pieces found from about 8000 years B.C. to about 150 years ago in this museum.
