We past through Azadi while connecting from Shiraz to Tehran, it is a grandeur monument which can be seen on the way from Mehrabad International Airport to downtown Tehran.

Azadi tower is symbol of tehran. Tehran is capital of Iran. Under this tower u can visit and enjoy museums.

It is well lit up at night and great at sunset. A taxi to here may be a lot as the traffic is bad. I came from Darband and it took over an hour. Unusual design but well worth spending 30 mins here.

Took Metro line 4 and alight at Meydan-E Azadi station. You can see the structure upon exit of the station. Have to cross quite a few hazardous roads due to the traffic at peak hour to reach the tower. Took lift to level 2 and...More

this beautiful tower is sample of old tehran, that gives you an access to know an old architect art of iran and also a good place to take a memorable pictures.

It was built during the reign of the last Shah of Iran and it was called the memorial of the king Tower! It is a combination of pre islamic and islamic architecture of Iran! There is a musuem in the basement of the tower!

I did not stop to visit the site but it is easy to see asking taxi to drive few rounds close to it. Modern landmark.

Looks good in both day and night. Great place for both locals and tourists, there are also ppl selling coffee and tea.

Definitely worth visiting and going up the tower. Loved the statue of the guy taking a selfie with it. Also enjoyed the peace themed artwork on the lower level of the tower.
