The best place to buy souvenirs - dont go anywhere else.
I try to make a visit to this Mall each visit to the Island. Its far better to come here than buy imported Chinese junk sold as souvenirs in the tourist souk in old Manama behind the Bab Al Bahrain.
The artisan products are all locally produced. Local art works woven products pottery and fabrics as well as cards pottery and clay ework is all hand made. Upstairs you can find local food items as well - spices honey and other things.
My favourite is the weaving stand. If lucky you may see the chap actually weaving the items. I really enjoy watching him and sitting and chatting. He has 6 sons and has passed on his skills to the eldest - or at least thats what he told me.
A must place to visit to purchase genuinely produced local handicrafts and souvenirs.

worth a visit , its govt run place , there are many stalls and you are free to roam around each shop and you will find items from bakhur to caps to masala etc all made in bahrain , worth a visit to get back a memory with some soveniers , people are humble and friendly ... worth indeed a visit , but the road which leads here from main road is confusing and narrow , follow your GPS dont loose faith !!

The mall has a good selection of traditional crafts done by Bahrainis. For visitors, you would find nice souvenirs.

Bahraini handmade craft. Great place for tourists who like souvenirs . It open from 7-9 weekdays, and 9-9 at the weekend. They sell Bahraini spices and pickles .

Capital Mall should be a must-visit place for every visitor to Bahrain. It is wonderfully located close to Seef Mall and easy to reach. The staff at the Mall are welcoming and very kind and generous with the time they give to visitors.
The Mall contains are superb collection of locally made items, ranging from:
* Pottery
* Wood craft
* Rugs and carpets
* Paintings
* Calligraphy
* Furniture
* Perfume
* Food and Spices
and more
It is a delight to browse the place and see the unique creations. Whats more, the Mall often has local artisans displaying their skills in crafts such as pottery and art. The Mall also assists the needy to develop their skills and craft.
The Mall also has a small eating place where local food is available.
Surely, a hidden delight.

This is a great find. No need to go anywhere else for your made in Bahrain souvenirs.
Much better than trawling round endless souqs full of non Bahraini products whilst being hassled to buy tat !
This is a great alternative and really worth a visit.

Quite a small mall, more of a shopping centre really. Has a lot of good quality, hand crafted Bahraini goods, but it is on the more expensive side.
