Interesting place

Excellent place to visit if you want a feel of what Riyadh was like in the past. Will be great once all the renovation work is done.

A lovely place for some history of Riyadh. Great shops and restaurants adjacent, and lots of people having picnics on cooler days.

Old Diraiyah is really an excellent place to visit. The restorations and improvements to the area has been wonderful. It is such a historic area and to see the way the buildings have been restored is great. This area provides the opportunity to walk, picnic, explore, eat at restaurants, playgrounds for the kids and simply a beautiful location. It can... More

This is a nice place to walk around in the morning; avoid the Friday and Saturday late afternoons and evenings - it becomes crowded. Friday mornings are also a no-no (everything is closed). The area with the shops and restaurants is known to the locals as Al-Bujairi. The historical site is just across the wadi and will be well worth... More

This is a pleasant and interesting historical site that has been extensively renovated. There is a large underground car park and many paths meander across the site.

I went here around sunset. The grounds were full of families, having a picnic or playing. A restful pleasant place to sit and watch the activity. The buildings are all reconstructed of the old city - but still pleasant enough to walk around in. Places to eat were also available.
