Cave is ridiculously small and shallow. Second thing You need to climb high to reach it. I wasn't satisfied.

We went late afternoon and the curator gave us a guided tour, with a lot of information. After that we stayed on the parking plateau (below the cave) and watched some of the splendid sunset over the Dead Sea and surrounds.

Jordan is so full of History and especially rich in biblical significance. I would recommend a visit to Jordan by all.

Peaceful & quiet when we were there. Coming from the North side of the Dead Sea, or close to Jesus' baptism site on the Jordan side of the Jordan River near the Dead Sea, the sign under-stated the actual number of kilometers to Lot's Cave....More
