The tunnels were a combination of water source and escape passages and logistics routes for supplies for the City of David. Okay there are a couple of parts to this tour. The first part has wide enough paths and stairs, and if that is all you do, you don't need to be in too great shape. However, if you continue... More

It was more walking than i expected but it was quite nice. If you are too tired to walk back take the shuttle bus back up.

The Tunnel Tour was spectacular as was the whole City of David guided tour. And it was constructed over 2500 years ago, without GPS or machinery. Being dug from opposite ends and meeting in the middle is pretty miraculous.the space is small and wet and about 20 minutes in length. I highly recommend this.

This was definitely a highlight of our visit to Jerusalem! The tunnels are 150 ft below ground and the entire tunnel is filled with water that is ankle deep to thigh deep (for a little bit at the beginning). The tunnel is small and made for shorter ancient peoples requiring one to walk bent over for about 15 min. The... More

Loved going through these tunnels. The engineering of the project (so ancient!) just astounding. Very dark and one should go prepared - knee high water ! Might be problematic for people with claustrophobia.

We took a guided tour that can be bought online or at the gate of the City of King David National Park. The Tour took us through the tunnel system, water tunnel system and the pool of Shiloach or Siloam. A really good archeology proven Site from Biblical times. It is a great Tour to take in Jerusalem as it... More

The tunnel experience cannot be missed - no excuses! There is a wet tunnel and a dry tunnel and whilst the spaces are tight, it really is one of the bucket list experiences.

I took my son and a friend here. They are both ten years old and it was a wonderful activity for them. They enjoyed walking in the tunnels. They were small enough not to have to worry about banging their heads. It was great to be out of the son and getting wet. And they also learnt about the history... More
