This morning we attended Shabbat services . The building is beautiful with many stained glass windows. The women sit in the balcony but can see down on the main floor. Today there was a nice breeze thru open windows so it wasn't too warm. The Cantor was excellent but the choir was terrific and really enhanced the service. We were... More

I am enjoying myself in this Holy land. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and helpful. We have gone to different places. I am spiritually blessed. This tour also has make the Bible come alive to me. I am planning to come back in two years in Jesus name.

Attending a Shabbat (Saturday morning service) at this beautiful synagogue will be one of the highlights of my first trip to Israel. Sitting at the rear of the sanctuary, listening to the delightful sounds of the cantor and choir, following the all Hebrew service and looking at the beautiful stained glass windows, was all that it could be for me.

This is a big place and if you need an anonymous place to daven where you will not get the "stare" then go. It is not really "great" but is very large. Chabad ravens in the basement shtiebl.... Checked out the great synagogue with beautiful stained glass windows. Also looked at the collection of mezuzahs on display in the entry hall. Appears to range from Antiquity to modern and around the globe.
