Outside the Old City Walls of Jerusalem, the Church of St. Peter is both a modern and ancient place. Underneath the sanctuary, you will find a dungeon of caves, where Jesus Himself may have been held captive the night before His crucifixion. You see, this...More

The church is nearby steps that were the path to Caiphas' house. Luke 22:60 - 62 is a very sad moment where Peter denies he knew Jesus for the third time. Jesus turned and looked straight at Peter. It hurt to have a close friend...More

This is a place where you need to spend some time - there is so much to see. Underneath the church there are some caves that are worth visiting.

The Church represented the place of Peter's denial of Jesus three times followed by rooster crowed and Peter later bitterly repented reminding pilgrims the Lord's passion and sufferings.

Like all of the other churches in Israel it is very noce. It gets to the point though that they all look the same after awhile. This was a nice church with nice artwork.

this is a must see. It has the pit where Caiaphus prisoned Jesus then walked him down those 17 steps (proved authentic) to Pilate.. Definitely worth going if you're into historical facts..
