as you approach the wite structure you will notice two things firstly water being played onto it this is to keep it cool so the scrolls inside are kept at an even tempereture. also the shape is that of the winder to move the scrolls...More

Maybe it's because I don't understand the language, but looking at a bunch of pages of an important document was not impressive. And the printed labels did not draw me into the story of the scrolls. I've seen better documentaries on TV.
