The Western Wall Tunnels has constant construction. Our guide shared lots of history from Roman times, about building the Western Wall and aqueducts. There was a short section that is very narrow so think about it if you are claustrophobic. It was okay, though.

The tour of these tunnels takes you through history with the most amazing findings, size of construction and events. A tour one shouldn't miss, no matter which religion one belong to.

After getting over the shock of the existence of this place, you wonder how it was built thousands of years ago before architects or engineers or modern tools. Absolutely unbelievable. You have to see it as words cannot describe it.

This was a mind numbing, breathtaking and informative tour of the "real" old city beneath the Mameluke arches. Touch mammoth stones in Herod's temple mount in wonder and awe at how they cut moved and stacked these behemoths. Walk in the aqueduct to the Antonio Fortress, and marvel at the industry. Hands down the most authentic, informative and inspiring tour... More

This is an active archeological site and such much is shared regarding the history of the city of Jerusalem and the Western Wall. You get to see the pieces of the original wall and learn the history and importance of the wall. A must visit if it is your first trip to the Old City

Interesting and worth seeing but don't put this at the top of your list in Jerusalem. Walk was lengthy but not strenuous. Our tour group was very large and we had a difficult time seeing the computerized presentation. Our teens were underwhelmed compared to other sites in Jerusalem.

I learned that all old cities actually have layers. This city has multiple layers. The original excavation started in the 1800's. It now allows you to see how the walls were built >2,000 years ago.

The wall itself is an integral part of this area of Jerusalem and the opportunity to see them up close shouldn't be missed. The tour was informative and interesting. Our guide helped discuss the context of the various historical events that have centred around the temple complex.
