We had a great guide and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Learned lots, got a few nice photos. However it would have been nice if the tour company had warned us of the celebration that was happening the same time as our tour. It made getting to the site a nightmare, really the tour should have been cancelled.

To fully complete a visit to the Wailing Wall you have to visit the tunnels that run underneath the area. You can book online to join a guided tour, which is run in different languages, the guides are very informative and friendly. To find the entrance to the tunnels go to the plaza of the Wailing Wall and follow the... More

After we visited the western wall, we were able to do a tour in the tunnels underneath. It is about a 1/1/2 tour and is fascinating. Highly recommend if you have time

If you are coming to Jerusalem, be sure to make a reservation to tour the tunnels under the Western Wall. We were able to get the next day, at the time we wanted. In fact, we arrived early for our allotted time, and they offered us the opportunity to take the next tour immediately, which we did. You can make... More

Since each Temple was built on top of each other, at the other side of the wall you can look down and see original wall

The tours of the western wall tunnel are hard to get but certainly worth it. We went on the night of the 50th anniversary of The Israel Independence! Navigating the crowd of half a million celebrants was awesome! The tunnels have been constructed along the west wall exposing the ground level of Jesus's time and lower. The look at the... More
