Built in the 19th century by the Russians with typical Orthodox onion shaped domes to honor the patron Saint of the Czar's family. From afar it dominates the area. Interior is very pretty with icons.

The domes of the church are beautiful. The interior is simple and elegant. Need to take some stairs to get to this quiet church.

I wanted to visit this church - but the visiting hours are so restrictive that it is almost impossible! So I have been to the gate once, and in the neighborhood a few times!!
