Even though so man people are in this garden. It is so cool. There is a small iron gate that goes around the garden so you don't disturb the trees, the land, the flowers. It's nice to look at it from the other side of...More

Sitting on the Mount of Olives, next to the Basilica of Agony, with its altar stone, where 2,000 years of tradition say, Jesus prayed before his arrest, the garden is simple, yet overwhelming. The ancient olive trees, some dating to the time of Jesus, are...More

You can't help but feel the awesomeness of this beautiful spot. The gardens are kept up beautifully and it is easy to "feel" that this could be the exact spot where Jesus prayed.

On a recent pilgrimage to Israel, this was the highlight for many of us. The olive trees are ancient, and the rocks are the same as in Jesus' time. The garden has been beautified with flowers and shrubs, and it is walled off from visitors...More

It is amazing to think that some of the olive trees here could date back to the first century! The garden is a wonderful place to reflect upon all of the history of Jerusalem.

A great place to go and reflect on history. It was a little smaller than expected. A small garden with Olive trees.

Hello. I took a picture of the operating hours at their door. Summer ( April - Sept ) from 8am -6pm. Winter ( Oct - March ) 8am-5pm. We went there during early hours to avoid the crowds.
