A place where you can find a bit of everything (almost...). Most of the Arab shop keepers are friendly and helpful but this can not necessarily be said for the population living there. Interesting place to be in daylight but be on your guards - just in case!!

This neighborhood in lower Haifa has mainly Christian Arab residents and is know for its yearly held festival that promotes peace and coexistence..some of the best Schwarma and Falafel can be found at the local small restaurants...park somewhere off Allenby road and walk through the narrow streets..

The Wadi Nisnas can be reached by car or public bus. There is parking on nearby streets, but I wouldn't recommend driving through the narrow one way streets in the Wadi itself. The outdoor market for vegetables has good variety, though other markets in Haifa are much larger. Go here for the atmosphere. There is a great bake shop on... More

Nice and warm people, surprisingly delicious smells on the tiny narrow streets and yards. Authentic and interesting place for exploration.

Great place to sample "street food". Walk through Wadi Nisnas on the way to the German Colony (or the reverse)

An Arab-type marketplace for Mediterranean fruits & vegetables, fresh meat butcheries, spices and seasonings stop markets. In between, the neighborhood is full of outdoors work of arts and graffiti.

Nerrow streets with great smell of foods from the restaurants, street-food stands and fresh market. Old buildings, and joyful happenings in the Holidays (mostly the Christian holidays).
