It's an old and very important establishment in Haifa, that teaches kids and adults to understand science in an interactive manner. Every month or two there are special exposition, so go to their website to get info. Great to visit during the winter and also the summer since they renovated their back yard with many things you can touch and... More

I learned so much about how Israel came in to being from the excellent displays and interrelation of this fascinating museum. Even the carriages, wagons and diesels outside have well written detailed descriptions. Shame there is only one steam loco but Israel scrapped them all over 50 years ago. However I understand there are exciting plans.....! The manager is very... More

This is a great science museum, also offering play-areas revolving around scientific experiments. Great for young primary school level children but also enjoyable for adults. Nice science garden pay area outdoors as well. The architecture of the historic Technion building of 1913 is well worth the visit for adults regardless of the museum.

Very clear scientific exhibition, visitor can try many of the exhibits, most totally explain scientific products and phenomenas, i can not believe that anyone mange to get all the info in one full day. not cheap, about 20 US$ entrance for 1, well worth the money if they didn't close too early, as you do not really get your money's... It's a nice science museum to go to with kids of all agencies. For sure you will have a good time and the outside playground with 'science' based installations is definitely a hit among kids. The museum is organized in rooms with each a scientific theme. The exposition is however is not so original. If you have been in a... More

We went on a weekday, so it was a couple of school groups and a couple of couples. I love visiting science museums, and I find that they often have a local perspective on different topics (like Israeli petroleum usage and Israeli astronauts). This museum had lots of interesting exhibits, including a few that I haven't seen elsewhere yet. They... More

Somewhat small, but otherwise very interesting and cozy since museum. You will need to plan for planetarium ahead of the time. Many hands on items, excellent Archimed exhibition in the garden. Stands are in Hebrew, English and Arabic. There should be also some tours for groups. Tickets are a bit overpriced, though. Planetarium has some items of Ilan Ramon, the... More

I found the museum exhibits interesting. Most if not all were more designed for school age children.
