This is a lovely museum, hidden away in the Haifa University. It’s located in the administration tower of the University which is the highest point on Mount Carmel. Not many people even know it exists, but it is well worth visiting. It covers history of...More

Very interesting museum that gives you the history of the whole area. The real treat is going the elevator upstairs to the top floor where you see a magnificent paranorama view of Haifa.Easy to get there by bus.

We had a guide to show us round the museum. Its really interesting especially if you have someone to explain the relevance of some of the exhibits. Fascinating.

When visiting Haifa, this is a museum that should be on your list. The only difficulty is finding it. That's right. It's located in the basement of the Haifa University tower. If you miss seeing a sign, that's no surprise, and if you go when...More

We were impressed with the quality of the exhibits and the size of the collection for a small to midsize museum. The descriptions were very informative and completely translated into English. Parking is hard to find near the musem.

The museum is indeed open during the summer. I suggest you look online for the hours but my guess is 830 to 4 pm Sun-Thursday and different hours Fri and Saturday.. Enjoy.
