Thank you for your inquiry.
Haifa is the third largest city in Israel, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel and its major tourist attraction is the Bahai Gardens, which for the Bahai faith is like Jerusalem is for Christians and Jews.
The German colony, established by a German Protestant Sect called the Templar Society in the 19th C. (not to be confused with the Knights of the Templers) contributed to many facets of life during that era and today the area , with preserved housing from the time is a popular tourist area, with many restaurants and shops.
AF AL PI CHEN MUSEUM in Haifa, tells the story of the State of Israel from the days of clandestine and illegal immigration to Palestine during the British Mandate, This Naval Museum, is built around a ship named AF AL PI CHEN (which means, "NEVERTHELESS") and it puts a little focus on the "Canada Connection, as this particular ship ("Nevertheless") was built in Canada in 1941, as a tank carrier.
And Haifa is also noted for the Technion University, one of the best in the world.
Many of the sites above can be visited independently and the Bahai Gardens have local daily tours.
Our tours usually encompass a deeper historical look into the country and we would suggest what you might call a rim tour to include sites such as Caesarea (Herod the Great's Masterpiece) - about 20 minutes from Haifa; Armageddon / Megiddo (key site to understanding the history of the Middle East) - about 1/2 hour drive from Haifa; and Akko ( known for the part it played as a gateway port city to the holy land during the crusader period)- about 15 minutes north of Haifa.
Usually we ask for some background about your party, so that we can make suggestions to suit your needs and we can also include some sites within Haifa. Once we set up an exact itinerary, we can quote on it.
