There are far better snorkeling experiences to be had than what you can get here. That said, it's still a fun place to snorkel so long as your expectations aren't high regarding the range of sea life you'll encounter.

Great little beach, very nice corals and fish, go there in the morning when there is the most light, it will be most beautiful. The restaurant on the left of coral beach serves great lunches in the shade, very friendly staff.

I was there in March and the water temperature was very pleasant. Snorkeling is OK. But it's nothing compared to places like Hawaii or Palau.

Not exactly sure on accommodation nearby, but the beach is easily accessible by bus from the hotels in Eilat itself.

if i remember correctly it's one bus stop away. probably around 500 meters. Not far and definitely walkable for a normal healthy adult.
