Our guide David Tsvaygenbaum was excellent, taking us by jeep to wonderful places in the Eilat desert region. We had a great teatime when dusk was approaching. The tea was excellent. David is very knowledgeable.

Wow, what a visit. Our cruise ship overnighted in Jordan so we went to Wadi Rum the first day, spent the night in Petra village and we then visited Petra day two. Our guide, Muhammad was fantastic, maybe one of our best guides ever.

I travelled there about four weeks ago. It was cold in the morning but warmed up around mid-day and was pleasant. So I'd suggest cover up if you're arriving in the morning.

What would be a good time of the year to visit Eilat, & take a not-too-rushed visit to Petra and Wadi Rum? What routing would make the most sense coming in from Brisbane? Thanks
