Great day to the Masada and Dead Sea with Bein Harim Tourism Services. Excellent organisation from start to finish, with a great lunch at the Dead Sea. Special mention for the tour guide Yuval Bigio who has a great knowledge of the tourist attractions, in...More

Don't miss it. It is one of the most amazing places to visit in Israel. During the summer it can get VERY HOST. Temperatures might get to 45 degrees Celsius in the Dead Sea region.

This is a site that has to be seen if you go to Israel. The history and beauty of Masada is a site. The view from the top is amazing. My only recommendation is bring water when you go to the top.

Before your hike up the mountain or before your cablecar ride, take an hour to visit the museum to learn the history and get a preview of the site. It is well-done.

I suspect most people skip this museum because they are either tired after touring Masada it self or they are anxious to get to the top. That's a shame as this is a very well put together museum. The Automated Audio Tour is very good....More

From my perspective, you go to Masada to take the cable car, ride to the top and consider the engineering and architectural wonder that it was / is. Before that, you can watch a short film with clips of Peter O'Toole in the 1981 TV...More

A small percentage of the people visiting Masada seem to visit this museum, which is a pity as it is a little gem. Armed with an audio device you explore all the periods of Masada, from Herod through to the recent uncovering of it's secrets....More

We ended up going through this museum after hiking up Masada at dawn. It was a very nice automated audio tour. It is a series of rooms with statues and backgrounds to go along with the displays. It kept my girls (ages 8&10) interested, and...More
