Steam museum has many interesting exhibits including a Robert Stephenson locomotive. Restaurant inside but we ate opposite in nice local cafe.

If you like trains this is worth a stop you won't spend long here but it's interesting for a short while.

Some of our party were real enthusiast and will no doubt be going back for another viewing. The earliest on display was around 1889 a British small shunter or similar. There were approximately 50 trains in total. French, USA and British.

If you like trains, this will be a great museum for you. So many locomotives to see and the grounds are impeccably maintained with lovely gardens. My husband is a train nut, so this was really special for him.
