This place is worth the visit for the amphitheatre alone. To stand in the centre of the stage and to hear the acoustic amplification from a construction that is over 2000 years old makes one realise that how Paul could have spoken to so many people in there. There are many other places to explore, but the the library is... More

The best way to get an impression of the city is to come with the starting time or as much to the closing time. It takes roughly 2 hrs to walk up and down. To start the excursion is better from down entrance and go up and down.

I was always told to visit and finally made it. You will need to spend at least 2 hours and take water during the summer months. It can get crowded which does spoil the atmosphere so try and get there early. They don't seem to control the number of people visiting.

Very interesting historic site in Turkey. Still more to explore under the surface. Please invest in a good guide. She/he will add value to you experience. With good stories and anecdotes they make your trip more interesting. It is a must to prepare by reading before visiting Efesos. If you visit at summer time, please remember something to cover your... More

Turn right from the town centre of selcuk and after approximately one km turn left. Make sure you have your passports or some kind of picture I'd as we were checked by the army/police, good idea in today's day and age. Loads of free parking and if you're firm of foot then don't take the horse carriage to the top,... More

What an incredible site this is. So much to see and do, prepare to have at least half a day set aside to explore properly and look beyond the main stretch as there are several little gems hidden away which aren't signposted. Minimal shade and no refreshments once you're inside the main gate, so take advantage of the cheap market... More
