Surreal to think this is the Mary's last home. lovely place, peaceful and tranquil. A nice candle lighting opportunity. Close to Ephesus, so not out of the way and worth visiting.

The place was beautiful and very serene. A lot of respect is afforded the home and a it very busy and well travelled by all. The parking and entry tickets are a little high in comparison to other monuments or historical sites in Turkey so don't be shocked. There is also a place for donations (not required) at the home... Another incredible tour of Mary's last residence - you feel inspired and it touches your soul. You feel her presence while you are there - I was amazed.

The Virgin Mary's house is allegedly the last place where the Mother of Jesus was living. It is a small place to visit, the house itself takes a minute to pass through and no pictures are allowed inside. The tour goes from the main entry/parking spot to the house, to the water spring and that's it. It may take 20/30... More

This is a small area but close to Ephesus. If you are devout it is well worth a visit. Otherwise it is a single shrine and a well.

This is one of the most special sacred places in Turkey. When you're there please listen to your heart and guides. Please try to feel the devotion of Virgin Mary. The only thing we couldn't understand was the entrance fee. It changes upon your nationality, interesting and disturbing.
