We spent an hour here. We enjoyed our visit and felt it was priced well for what we experienced. We paid 15 TL each person.

This is very close to the Ephesus ruins so worth a small side trip. This is supposedly where John took Mary and Mary Magdalen for their protection after Jesus died. It's a small, sturdy house now sort of turned into a chapel. Very interesting though.

Oddly enough, our guide seemed to believe that it would take us 30-45 minutes to see this attraction. We were done in about 10 minutes. It's the smallest "L" shaped house I've ever seen. It may be terribly interested to those who are very religious,...More

Nice and well kept peaceful location, tiny little church which is meant to build on top of the plot where the virgin Mary's house stood. The refreshment stands are very good for Turkish coffee.

There is a functional Christian church so I believe a church wedding could be possible. But a wedding ceremony may be rejected. The reason for a rejection of this request would probably be that too many couples would... More
