Great museum. Small enough see everything in a few hours but big enough that you'll have a good time and get your money's worth. The audio guide is good to have if you're interested in hearing directly from the artists.
Contemporary museum sitting in the middle of old part of Istanbul.
Good collections and impressing.
After wondering around the contemporary museums in other cities in Europe, Istanbul doesn't disappoint me.
Go wondering around the neighborhood too.
There are 4 floors of exhibits. But I could only appreciate the photographic exhibition of Yildiz Moran and the sculptures by Anthony Cragg. Didn't understand the rest
At TL50, I don't think it's worth the price.

There are 4 floors for guests to view artwork, two of which house permanent collections. We were worried we would not have enough time to view everything, but we finished in 45 minutes! The only exhibit we enjoyed was temporary photography exhibit by Yıldız Moran....More
Nice modern museum in Beyoglu. Apart from the Anthony Cragg temporary exhibition that comprises several masterpieces, I would like to underline the Burhan Doğançay artworks along with the really interesting photography exhibition about Yildiz Moran.
The only thing I dislike is that tourists pay more...More

Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.

The temporary location of the museum is very close to Tünel and the Pera Palas Hotel. Exact address is: Asmalımescit Mahallesi, Meşrutiyet Caddesi No:99, Beyoğlu, İstanbul
