This is one of the best islands to visit in istanbul.... You can reach there by a ferry; it needs almost 90 minutes from istanbul.... The island has unique architectural design... The restaurants , the people and all the facilities are ready to help you enjoy staying there..... We will come back again sooon adalar.....

I went on a Wednesday and it was great. Ferries were difficult - I read that there was a departure from Kabatash at 9:30, so I got there shortly before and there was no SH ferry in sight, so I got the private one - Istanbulkart not accepted but 7.50 one-way, less than I had read - and it took... Visited Adalar and spent two nights in the heart of the little town. Lot of tourist traps there, but if you take a walk or bike around you can find beautiful scenery and peaceful time together with your companions. You can see many old beautiful wooden houses, unfortunately most of them have not been taken care of and will fall... More

A very beautiful place to visit, one of the most in the world. You take the tram from Istanbul to the last stop, then the ferry. Short travels nice and full of joy. Once you are in one of the islands you can only walk there are no cars on the Islands.

Nice island for biking around but do not take the fayton (horse and carriage) tour. They ride past everything and only stop at a tea place with no view. I recommend getting a bike and a map and exploring the place on your own. The fayton tour is a total scam.
