There are around 7 islands near Istanbul, but the main one is Prince Island or Buyuk Ada. It is worth visiting. You can plan on spending a day in this island. You can go all around it on fool or by bicycle.

If your programme includes horse drawn carriage ride please think about the horses. The horses were in poor condition. Money talks, horses are dying!
