A small, smoky, dark bar with great live local music and friendly staff and patrons. Just the sort of place to take a break from the tourist scene. Also, they serve popcorn as a bar snack.

Friendly pub with a good selection of beer. The music was excellent. While I was there, there were hardly any other people. Very mellow scene, but the solo musician was very talented and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

Awesome. No frills, chill scene, GREAT music. Easy for us (youngish American couple) to get since raki and enjoy the lively music amongst a predominantly turkish crowd. Great staff. Made for one of our favorite nights in Istanbul.

Just dropped in by accident, and I am having a great time. The musicians rotate regularly, so you get to hear more than one artist/s playing. Very nice for the muzos out there.

Went to the bar and listened to live Turkish music for three hours on a Wednesday. Friendly staff. Good drinks and great music. If you want to listen to some live music I can't recommend it enough.

Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal
Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night
and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights,
shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of
people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive
Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of
the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned
restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
