We had a walk through the fish market and was amazed by the variety and of course the atmosphere. We did not have time for a meal, but will probably try one of the many restaurants next time.

A must see street full of amazing bars and fish meze restaurants. It is quite noisy to have dinner at the weekend but it definitely should be seen once. This street was right across our wonderful hotel and we loved going to major Istiklael street...More

If you are interested in seafoods go here for sure.. during day you can find food based on seefoods during night you can drink everything and also eat a delicious portion also many reastuarants with live music ...

There is balik pazari in Isteklal cadasi near galate seray University. There many kinds of fishes you can select and order it to eat there with local and traditional drink and Meze.

Great place to enjoy awesome Turkish street food, cafes and shopping. Prepare to walk a lot. I like to stop every few hours for a small bite and a cold beer. Found some fresh seafood there as well. Enjoy!!
