Gorgeous location and views from high atop a hill. 500 years old with cleanliness of just being built. Beautiful courtyard, grounds, building and interior. Preserved as a true gem and gift to the city- very relaxing place from the bustle of all Istanbul

Absolutely loved staying in Sultanamet. My parents and I travelled through on a 30th birthday + wedding anniversary trip and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Beautiful buildings, lovely cobblestone roads, all of the landmarks close by and easy to get to by walking and by tram!

Surely the best neighbourhood to go visit all the 'main' historic attractions especially if it's your first time in Istanbul. The offer of hotels is amazing and everyone can find something for themselves according to their budget.
