This mosque is like a hidden gem in the shopping centre of Eminönü,The moment I stepped in I was transformed a world of beautiful designs. All created with beautiful tiles. Would love to come here again.

I went there again on June 20, 2017, to visit this mosque and it was still closed for restoration works! They closed it in mid-May 2016 to restore it and the works are still on going. Maybe they could re-open it next summer if they...More

Rustem Pasha Mosque may not be as magnificent as the Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia but it has a wealth of artistry. Rustem Pasha was Viser, sort of Prime Minister, for Suleyman the Magnificent. His mosque, though comparatively small, was designed by the brilliant architect...More

Entrance is deceivingly dull, but the mosque has exquisite tiles in a bewildering range of patterns. A must-see for tile afficionados. Close to the spice market area and shops that sell excellent souvenir and utility items.
