This squre has great views of the sea, city, and mosques. Close to shops and many restaurants, its hard to not walk thru here since its close to many of the main attractions.

The Eminonu Square is the best square in Istanbul in terms of View to the bosphorus, Shops, Close to main Souks (Sultanahmad shopping Street), Kiosks selling chestnut, Corn... . From there you can grab a ferry to do the bosphorous cruise and to visit Dolmabache...More

Istanbul is full of fabulous neighborhoods and Eminonu is right up there. Great for walking, shopping, eating (it is Istanbul after all!). We stayed at a small wonderful hotel close to so many attractions: Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi, Gagia Sofia etc. We just walked...More

The square can get very busy with lots of action. Plenty to take in and lots of food options. Take a seat and watch the action

Eminonu for me is the heart of upbeat action.. here you get the ferry.. street food.. great shopping. I love this area.. turkish treats for sale everywhere.. cheeses . Olives.. just about every fruit. The only draw back will be for people who dont like...More
