I love this museum

I went there on April 22 2017. The queue was not too long. The entrance fee for Turkish is 7,5 TL and for foreigner is 15 TL. The museum is well managed, clean and very... read more

An interesting huge panorama of the Ottoman conquest of the Byzantine Roman Empire located in the west of istanbul away from the tourist centre. On the way to the upstairs 360 panorama you pass multiple panels explaining the lead up to the battle. These are written for a local audience, are essentially propaganda that wouldn't be out of place in... More

I went there on April 22 2017. The queue was not too long. The entrance fee for Turkish is 7,5 TL and for foreigner is 15 TL. The museum is well managed, clean and very informative. The informations in every painting or another stuffs were in both English and Turkish,of course. The main attracton is a panorama painting about the... More

If you are interested in history you will find this place interesting, it is a sort of the Constantinople conquest museum. Once inside take the time to read the little texts in English (the letters are slow and the plates are down, so it will not be easy) - what a pity! Elsewhere you will spend 3 Euros for seeing... I would say that this is a modern museum, explaining history in an interesting way. At first I was about to leave, but when visited the second floor display, it was really amazing. One issue to consider, even though we had an audio explaining each and every display, the information was not enough, most of the information is written in... More

I was expecting something more from this panorama. The fact that this was a monumental day in Turkish history made me assume I will see somethings great. At the end it is basically several paintings with narratives and thats about it. The big 360 panorama is well-made but at the end it just a painting. Since this was created in... More

Real and authentic work of art. Great panorama which encapsulates the important parts of Istanbul's history. With it's audio guide that gives rich information and sound effects about the war, it brings the feeling of reality like you were witnessing on the spot of what had happened in the history. Amazing and great experience. I highly recommend this attraction.
