Simply beautiful, have to see it in person to appreciate it. The European side is more amenable to tourism while the Asian side is more residential.

The Bosphorus straight is the place to go by boat when you are in Istanbul. From Black see to prince Island there is plenty of activities to perform with different choice of boats.

Bisecting Istanbul, the Strait is often mistaken for the Bosphorous. It is a lovely body of water to cruise, either on an extended daylight cruise or one of the many Dinner Cruises available.

We love taking a stroll along the Bosphorus, there is always so much going on. Take the time to stop and watch the day go by. You can get there by bus, ferry or taxi.

I recommend you take it from Eminonu Pier There's quite a few large boats and they seem to be leaving every 30 minutes or so The one I took did not need any previous reservation. So I waited for a nice sunny day and just... More

it is easy, just get to know the ticketing office. We went with a private guide, just much easier, and you can request the sites you wish to see
