Walking along the streets of old Istanbul has a good impression . Alive city with old culture and friendly people . Many tourist attractions belong to west & east culture make a strange association of the past .

This city is over rated, nothing special about it,, the sense of history is missing and manipulated,, starting with the facts listed in their museum, the facts are absurd and fake, don't believe what is displaced there; the museum houses Ibrahim's turban which is sparkling...More

Probably the most interesting thing we noticed is the animals that were being sold including the Leeches. Not many bargains but some nice souvenirs.

Istanbul is still one of the greatest cities of the world given the clash between east and west, old and new, rich history and sheer hedonism. The historic district obviously nicely counter balances the massive growth of Istanbul to the 14million people it is today...More

relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to

I just have one day in Istanbul. Can you suggest what places should I visit in this small duration. I will be staying in Park Inn By Radisson Istanbul Ataturk Airport and I have return flight to Mumbai at 8 PM which means I will have to leave by 5 PM from the hotel. I guess its little far from the main city.
