Istanbul has not too many parks, but this one is beautiful. Close to the 2nd bridge, with a view at the Bosphorus, next to the Sakıp Sabancı Museum, in a wonderful neighbourhood. With old mansions where you can have a drink and food.

Positives: Wide area. Fresh air. Green land. Multiple kids playgrounds. Cheap 10 TL. Areas of improvement: Big and far distances. Mountain, higher areas walk which is difficult for kids and elderly and wheelchair people. Toilets need housekeeping.

It is very large park with different views where you can stay for couple of hours. It is very nice to take your family there. I have seen at least 7 bride and groom taking a photo there.

Try not to visit it from it's gate on Bosporus side (in front of Emirgan bus station), but from the gate on Katar Cd. The gate on the Bosphorus will make you climb the hill.

A really nice secluded place, with nice views. A bit far from the city centre, but that's what makes it even better. Supposedly it's best to visit in the spring, especially in the tulip season. We visited it in the summer and it was sweet...More
