Pub Crawl is not easy to make in Turkey , there are some exceptional places like Kadikoy. As in UK you may start the tour from the seaside and by zig zagging the streets upwards you will pass by dozens of pubs. In my experience...More

Kadikoy is to Istanbul what Brooklyn is to NYC... it is the hipster, chic, quaint and less touristic part of the city. The market place is wonderful to wander around and feels waaaaay more authentic than the European side of Istanbul. In general, this is...More

Kadikoy and Kadikoy carsi is in the Asian side of the city. Secular place where you feel safe and enjoy dining and having fun. Its kind more europina oriented and you can feel some kind of calmness to the people and places surrounding this place....More

For long years Taksim Square and the bars/restaurants on İstiklal Street was the center of attention while Kadıköy nights were more relaxed with less people, mostly people for Asian side of İstanbul. In recent years the number of indie bars and pubs increased dramatically and...More

As a native of Istanbul, I can say over the years, we lost some of the great food markets because of the changes in the city. However, Kadikoy Carsisi is still one of the best food market where you can find the freshest and the...More

So we only had a couple of hours to travel there for dinner one night. The first hurdle was finding the correct ferry boat. We found out that the only ferry that works until late at night leaves from Karakoy (not Kadikoy your destination) on...More

What a fascinating place which harbors restaurants, cafes, bars, a huge fish and grocery market. Bakeries, confectioners, book store, clothing, shoe stores and many more. This is hustling place at all hours of the day. Frequented by locals and tourists. Must visit, especially the famous...More

It's safe to walk alone as long as you keep your modesty. There are many good places to shop, so it's a highly recommended place to shop, too.
