It was shocking the way they operate the cable car. it was not safe at all. There was just a loose rod as safety measurement which can be pulled up even by a 3 year old kid. On top of it was in motion continuously...More

We visited in August and there was no snow. We took the rope car just for the view. The rope car ride was dangerous and I felt very insecure. The safety bar on the ski lift was just a loose rod that can removed easily...More

It's basically a view point have to reach there through rope way but its nice, cold icy winds at the top and thrilling rope way ride.

Chimgon can be enjoyable only in the winter months. Will dissuade anybody from using the cable car. Not only are basic safety norms bypassed, the whole arrangement is a recipe for disaster and an accident waiting to happen.

Had the opportunity to spend a night at Nebasa which provided a scenic view of the area. The ideal location of the property made all the difference.

worth travelling from tashkent city as it takes 2.5 hrs to reach by bus, great panoramic view of chimgon mountains, i was there in feb this year and it was all covered with snow, no words to explain.JUST WOW!! other chargeable sports activities also available.

Its worth to see. Lots of mountains, clean, fresh air. Best time to visit from may till September. Good for skiing at winter

I travelled with Ffestiniog Travel so if you google them you can read where we stayed in Tashkent, Bokhara, Samarkand and Khiva.

There is a Pyramids Hotel walking distance from the Chimgan lake.... so location wise its excellent. But we just had lunch over there (customised Indian food horribly made.... for which I don't blame the Uzbeks..... it's not... More
