Today, the Tashkent Metro has 29 stations that differ from each other. The architecture and décor of each station depicts its name. The peculiarity of the Tashkent metro is its rather shallow station positioning. For 1200 sums ($0.17) you can get anywhere in Tasheknt you want. The condition is good. No smoking, no eating in metro.

Every station is decorated according to its name. Despite this practice is not new at all, the way it is done is just amazing!

Very old subway in Central Asia. Police men seem to be from the former USSR. They do not help anyone and ask for passports even it is not necessary

Metro looks like in Moscow, even with passengers :). Because in Moscow a lot of migrants from Central Asia. Decoration of each station is different and nice, expecially liked station Kosmonaftliar, decorated in space theme.

The Metro is a must do when here. Some of the stations are wonderfully decorated. People are very friendly - every car I got on a young person got up to let me sit. Lots of security - be prepared to have your bag searched getting on, and no photographs are allowed

Rather like the Moscow underground. Trains rush in and out so jump on quickly! Photos are not allowed and the police are strict about this
