must visit place for colombo visitors specialy families and kids ticket for foreigners is srilankan rs 2500 but for saarc countries like pakistan has to pay only rs 700 there is sea lion show and elephant show all cages were full neat place rest area...More

I visited the zoo with my husband. We like to watch and learn about exotic animals. The park has no European standard, but what did you expect here? The park is large and marked with number signs, so it is easy to find your way....More

It's disappointing and heartbreaking to go this place and see the animals in the condition they are. Not fed properly, Its filthy and it's in utter chaos. Terribly maintained. If you have any love for animals, please don't go here.

An amazing time spent. Just half an hour drive from Colombo 03, this place is worth visiting. For SAARC adult they charge LKR 700 and LKR 350 for a kid. Total value for money. Our kid enjoyed every minute of 2 ½ hours spent inside....More

You could easily get it from the gate and not necessary to book in advance. avoid the weekends if possible as it gets really crowded.
