I really enjoyed the visit to this tea factory. It was really interesting to see the process from beginning to end. This is still a thriving and active tea factory. Very informative and great to see the various stages of production. Enjoyed the smells too....More

From the field to the cup Glenloch Tea Factory is worth a visit. So much more to tea than what you’re drinking. We joined tea pluckers in the field. There is an art in picking the leaves. We had the baskets balanced on our back...More

Most tea factories have become just for tourists and are there for show, however Glenloch was different. This factory was a lot less busy, so the guide we had didn’t need to rush us through. We was able to see all the staff at work...More

Most of the bags are either split or they split when stirring in the cup. You end up with a heap of tea leaf bits at the bottom of your cuppa. A complete waste of money and so disappointing after an enjoyable tour.

We did not stay at the hotel but did visit the Glenloch Tea Factory en route to Kandy. The tour was rushed and missed out half the processes. The sole aim appeared to get us into the showroom and sell us overpriced tea and chocolates....More

I don't remember seeing any public buses at the destination. Most of them were chartered buses or cars there.
