We paid pkr500 per person per entry to this monument , signature architecture design here . Can see some view of Islamabad cities from above here. To visit Pakistan Monument Museum need to pay another entry ticket of pkr500 per person .

This is an interesting monument and should be on the short list of places to visit in Islamabad. Parking close to the entrance can be challenging but once you are at the top, the views are panoramic and if the weather is nice you will be double rewarded.

Amazing to see this up close, astonishing piece of architecture, highly recommended, the museum also has alot of historical information, would have stayed longer to really absorb more of it but unfortunately it was rather hot 😁

It was a challenge for our driver to get to the location. One of the roads leading to it was closed and we had to go around. Once the car was parked in the lot off we went. As with everywhere entrance fees are higher for overseas visitors.
Lots of school children on day trips. The place is huge and a fair walk from the car park. Walk around and marvel at the monument. The leaf shaped outers have intricate drawings and worth a close look. The vantage point round the back offers a spectacular view of the city.

Went straight from airport to the monument. Very impressive architecture. The fascinating explanation of the architecture relative to the provinces was very welcome. The museum is small and informative.

It is accessible by Shakarparian road. parking is free at owner’s risk. Entry fee is Rs 20 for adults local and free for children. Foreigners will pay approx 1£.
It is actually complex comprised of open area namely (Pakistan Monument) where there is engraved images of Pakistan’s history, famous Places of Pakistan and Indo-Pakistan civilisation.
Due to high altitude u can have bird’s eye view of whole Islamabad and can capture snaps to cherish.
Important. Face mask is necessary to be worn due to pandemic situation.
Don’t forget to visit monument Museum located inside complex

the actual monument and area is so beautiful however there are a few issues
there is no organisation of facilities.
we had a pushchair and the lift was not working
we went to use ladies washroom and it was filthy
the lady attendant she had been off sick and noone had replaced her. she was running around asking for the water to ge turned on so she could clean so facilities could be used
this is unacceptable. there were many tourists including Japanese and Europeans and this was shameful it's a basic right to be able to use good facilities
Imran khan and Zulfi are busy telling everyone to come to Pakistan but have not backed up with infrastructure
our trip was not pleasant and cut short because of this

Sitting atop Shakerparian Hills, it's a place worth going to for panoramic views of the capital. With nominal fee and ample parking, its a good place for a day out. It has a history museum attached to it which is an added bonus.
P.S. take your own water/cold drinks and hats as not much coverage from sun.
