There is definitely plenty of space to move in this square. It's a popular place for locals to spend time, and also for wedding photos. The surrounding modern skyline emphasises how much Ulaan Baatar wants to be recognised and an international centre.
Immense square in the center of the city featuring, of course, an impressive monument to Ghengis Khan. There are a number of bicycle rental vendors in the square renting dilapidated bikes you can ride around the square. Nearby are a number of bars and restaurants.

As a fairly central point in UB you will probably end up here anyway so take 15 minutes out to see the Genghis Khan statue with mongolian script which is hard to find in the modern city.
