It's the 3rd round already.
Good hotel, location in the heart of the city. There is a cafe in front. Coffee and snacks are very delicious. The price is not expensive at all.
The room is okay. Fully equipped with amenities, swimming pool, fitness center.
There is an elevator and staff are available 24 hours a day.
The bathroom is spacious, clean, big, and doesn't smell.
Come stay this time for the 3rd time and if you come to Vientiane again. Must come back and stay here again.

Vientiane Center is one of a number of new shopping complexes in Vientiane. It is similar to shopping malls in Thailand and other Asian countries. The range of outlets is much less than in most malls in Thailand. The prices are reasonably high by Lao standards. There are a number of cafes and restaurants of various types, also reasonably expensive. A large supermarket offering mainly Chinese products is on the ground floor.
But the highlight is the Major Cineplex which is a replica of those in Thailand and not only is clean and comfortable but offers a range of recently released movies at very good prices.
Another benefit of the Center is free parking in the basement which is very helpful.

I was really excited with the fact that Vientiane Center is the largest shopping centre in Vientiane and expected a lot of shops and the availability of certain brands from overseas. Sadly, this is not true. It is quite "dead", not as busy as in shopping malls in other countries. I even found a shop selling imitations products here where you can buy burberry bag for 1 million kip! Lots of jewelry shop as well but the authencity is questionable. I tried asking the jeweller whether the blue sapphire on the ring is a Sri Lankan originated sapphire but he said he don't know. Since the jewellery's price is quite high and the jeweller is unable to provide much information on the products that he sells, it is not advisable to buy jewellery here. It doesn't take one whole day to finish touring this place. The range of food offered is not much, and the cinema only offers few English movies on certain date and time. The only notable thing coming from my experience going to Vientiane Center is that the barber shop inside this shopping mall is really good and the price is also reasonable. I could not find anything to buy here and that is really something as I am an avid shopper! I could not see any ATMs inside the mall and tried to find one by asking the people around. However, communicating in English is quite a problem here. Lastly, the tuk-tuk man from outside the mall is not reliable as I was charged 60,000 kip when it should only be 20,000 kip (my Lao friend confirming on this).

Firstly I gave 3 stars because this shopping mall got a cinema that is recently open in Aug 14, but the lack of good shows really deter me from going to the cinema no doubt it is cheap. Overall the cinema experience is quite good, spacious and not much crowd at all. The mall consist of a departmental stall which is too expensive, jewelry stalls and food court, which also doesn't have any nice food offered and a supermarket. Overall, only visit there is you really want to catch a movie, apart from that nothing special at all, by the way it is free parking for car only

This mall has air conditioning, and you could walk and see that there is quiet, Ventiene is a very quiet capital, nothing to do. The Mall is the maximum.

I happened to be passing Vientiane Centre Laos and decided to go in for some lunch. I went into the Pizza Company and after eating I had a walk around.
There’s loads of western brands in here and they are spread out over the three or four floors. I even saw Monopoly and Cluedo advertised in one shop!
Great for shopping if you’re rich as the prices are very expensive. Recommend walking around for an hour or so, even if to escape the heat!
It was 3,000 Kip to park a motorcycle.

I went to the mall because I was told that there was a H&M here... that is a lie. It is really not a place to go shopping as a tourist. And the Cinema only runs a few english speaking movies a day...

Nice trendy and upscale mall in downtown near main bus station, just a couple of years old...largely for foreigners or hi-so Lao, vast majority can't afford to shop here. Can't compare with malls in other SE Asian countries, but okay for Vientiane...great on a rainy day or to beat the heat, nice movie theater and food court!

I took a trip here and was terribly disappointed. Maybe I have been spoiled by the malls in Thailand. I love malls. But this mall wasn't particularly big and many of the shops were closed at 8 PM, including the restaurants. The ones that were open seemed strangely expensive and mostly empty. There's also very little else in the area, so it was very boring and lonely walk. Meanwhile, Vientiane has few or no meter taxis, only tuk tuks who ask for $6 to go a kilometer.
I could imagine going here if you have your own car and you want to see a movie (prices looked quite reasonable). But, for tourists, I wouldn't bother going here just to look around. The central area of town is more interesting.

This is the only "shopping mall" in Vientiane.
[a] There is one anchor tenant selling watches, clothing, bed sheet, shoes, luggage etc but the price is far beyond reach to the locals.
[2] At the 2nd storey, there are numerous gold jewelry shops.
[3] There is a food court (Food Republic) selling plenty of China food at the 3rd storey.
[4] The best cinema (at the present moment) in Vientiane can found at the 4th storey. Monday -Wednesday ticket price: 32,000 kip and Thursday - Sunday ticket price: 40,000 kip. There is one huge indoor children playground, bowling centre and barber shop too.
As a expats, I guess that this is the only place that you can go except Chao Anouvong Park Night Market.
