That Dam is a part of tale of Vientiane. Now it is a historical site surrounding by Pizza shop, coffee shop and nearby the old American Embassy.A few tourist visit this place in Summer day.

Nothing to exaggerate about, A single stand stupa in the middle of the town. I guess they just leave it as it is without wanting to restore or maintain it. there are random cafes around for you to sit back and relax.
