This place impressed me as much as Angkor wat, it's breathtaking! I'm surprised it's not popular among South east Asia highlight. If you're in Laos this is definitely the place to visit. The mystical atmosphere is unique.

Quite far out and very hot and dusty to get there in a tuk tuk Restaurant on site but not tried by us Toilets are the squat type which I believe most Europeans find difficult! Interesting statues but all weather worn Probably not worth a stand alone visit

This is trumpeted as one of Vientiane's major tourist attractions and I think it may have been some years ago but it's a tired sort of place today. Quite a few statues of all kinds but no wow factor here I am afraid.

Not worth it. Just a dusty grasland with a few statues. Quite expensive for what you see in this more or less modern park. Complicated to get there by public transport.

A must for a first time visitor to Laos as this park is filled with numerous Buddha statues and none of them look alike. Must set aside time to take a shot with each and every statue so there's no regret not having to view all of them when you're looking at the pictures after you return home.

Buddha park was made in 1950's, its abour 30 mins drive from the city. Park itself if not so big but has some lovely statues from buddha to krishna, ganpati and even guru nanak.

We cheated and took a hotel car to the park, $30 roundtrip, but it can also be done on the #14 bus. Costs 10K to get in. Opened in 1958 so nothing really ancient, but a fun mix of Hindu and Buddhist statues.

Buddha Park is easy to locate just outside of Vientiane and about 7 kilometers south of the Friendship Bridge border crossing on the main highway by the Mekong River. Although the park is not exteremly large, there is a large display of many ancient appearing cement sculptures featuring Buddha and many other amazing Asian deities. Beautiful sculpture gardens offering many... More

45 minutes drive from Vientiane for a 15 minutes visit. You feel like visiting a very fake place, there is one or two interesting massive Buddha. Lot's of them are broken showing the metal structure. The park is quite bad maintained.
